These terms apply to SynthMachine, a Windows and macOS VST3 instrument sold by Modandis through Gumroad.
Ownership
SynthMachine, the Modandis name, product design, source code, binaries, activation system, documentation, and included content are owned by Modandis or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
License
When you buy SynthMachine, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to install and use the plugin. The license is permanent for the purchased version unless the order is refunded, cancelled, revoked for abuse, or otherwise invalid.
Activation limit
1 purchase = 1 license = 1 computer activation. Each completed purchase creates one SynthMachine license with its own license key for one activated computer. Additional purchases create additional licenses, even when the same email is used.
Activation files are machine-specific and expire after about 60 days; active customers may refresh them on the activation page. Sharing an activation file does not unlock another computer. If you replace a computer, use the replace option on the activation page (limits apply) or contact support.
Allowed use
You may use SynthMachine in your own music, sound design, performances, recordings, and commercial projects. You may not resell, share, publish, rent, sublicense, or distribute your license key, activation file, private download link, or modified copies of the plugin.
Updates
Future updates may be provided at Modandis discretion. A permanent license for the current product does not guarantee all future major versions will be free.
Refunds
Within 60 days of purchase you may request a refund for any reason. Approved refunds are 80% of the purchase price minus non-refundable platform and payment fees. After 60 days there is no refund. See the Refund Policy. If a refund is issued, the related license is revoked and future activation or refresh requests will be blocked. Existing offline activation files may continue working until their signed expiration date.
No warranty
SynthMachine is provided as-is. Modandis will make reasonable efforts to fix serious defects, but cannot guarantee compatibility with every DAW, system configuration, or third-party plugin environment.
